Whether you choose to travel by train, plane, bus or car it doesn’t matter, just be in RICHMOND, VIRGINIA for NCBW’s Annual Leadership Retreat, June 22-25, 2016. AND, remember, the LeadershipRetreat is for “ALL” NCBW members and “EVERY” member is encouraged to attend. This year’s retreatwill be hosted at the Richmond Hilton Hotel & Spa/Short Pump, 12042 West Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia, 23233, right off Interstate 64, just 20 minutes from the Richmond International Airport. Join the national leadership team, local chapter leaders and other Coalition sisters as we gather to be empowered and network through participation in interactive workshops and presentations designed to strengthen our knowledge and skills.
During down time enjoy the convenient location of the hotel which is within walking distance of the Short Pump Town Center which features a selection of entertainment options including shopping, movie theaters and dining.
For those that don’t want to venture out, relax in a guest room seamlessly blending comfort and functionality. Catch up with work at the desk with internet access, or simply relax watching the 42-inch HDTV. Or you might choose to visit the Aura Spa and Salon for a facial or body treatment and enjoy the serene ambience of the Chroma therapy lounge. Swim laps in the indoor pool or work out at the fully equipped fitness center. You may also choose to taste freshly cut steak at the hotel’s onsite Shula’s American Steak House, inspired by NFL coach Don Shula, or gather with friends in the lobby café with a favorite Starbucks coffee. Wind down after a busy conference day in Shula’s Lounge offering an array of fine liquors.
Hotel room rate is $149 single; $159 double; $169 triple or $179 quadruple. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 13.3%). The maximum occupancy is four (4) individuals per room. In addition, the Hilton has offered NCBW the following:
Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and checkout time is 12 noon. Express check-in and checkout is available for those attendees that register with a credit card at the time of check-in or provided their Hilton Rewards membership card.
“Keys to Empowering Results” is the theme of the retreat and a very robust agenda is being planned to ensure NCBW chapter members that attend return home with the “keys” to develop strong sustainable chapters that provide beneficial impact to their communities! Registration for the retreat is $250 per member.

All reservations must be secured by a first night room deposit with a major credit card. Cancellations are required at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid being charged one night’s room and tax. In the event a guest who has requested a room checks out prior to the reserved checkout date, the hotel will add an early checkout fee of $50 to that guest’s individual account.
All reservations must be received on or before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1.

You may register for the retreat by using the attached Leadership Retreat Commitment form and mailing it along with your payment to our national headquarters office or by using an electronic link that will be posted on the NCBW website in just a few days.
Registration deadline is June 1. In addition, if it is necessary to cancel your conference registration please note that due to hotel requirements for final counts in order to receive a refund that cancellation request must be received no later than Monday, June 6. Cancellations must be received by Monday, June 6 by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
